VLA76 Chair for the Foyer

Originally custom created by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Radiohuset in 1945, Copenhagen, the Foyer VLA76 chair is now available to the public thanks to the collaboration between Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects and Carl Hansen & Son. Part of the three-design Foyer Series, the VLA76 lounge chair features a solid oak wood frame with an upholstered seat and a slanted back.

The chair is assembled from three individual parts that are hand-polished to prevent visible transitions. Meticulously upholstered in fabric or leather, the seat and backrest feature handmade buttons.
