VL Studio Light: Suitable for Table or Floor Use

Designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in the 1940s, Louis Poulsen’s VL Studio series takes its name from its original use as an indicator of whether or not recording was taking place within the radio’s studio.

The pleasantly round bulb is made from triple-layered, mouth-blown opal glass and is housed within an angled, metal shade. The versatile light is available in three sizes and two finishes and can be used as both a table and a floor lamp.

The lamp emits a glare-free diffused light with a delicate glow to its surroundings and makes a great addition to both modern and traditional interiors.
