The Nychair X Chair is a foldable and space-efficient seat with a minimalist appearance. Designed by Takeshi Nii in the 1970s, its ergonomic dimensions were chosen to align with everyday living spaces.

Using traditional techniques, the chair has been meticulously crafted with precision and care at a factory in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, an area renowned for its denim production. The seat is constructed from premium-grade Kurashiki sailcloth, a sturdy and natural material that works with the sloping backrest to deliver a comfortable and relaxing experience.

For over four decades, the Nychair X has been celebrated globally for its practical and lightweight design, which makes it simple to move from one room to another.

The Nychair X range has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Good Design Award from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, and the Long Life Design Award from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.
