Plafonnier Pivotants was developed by Serge Mouille after the success of his earlier floor light, Lampadaire 3 Bras Pivotants. Like many of Mouille’s lamps of this era, the ceiling lights have a kinetic character, possessing a feeling of movement. Defined by its sculptural form, the lamp features a shell-like shade and a long arm.

The Bibliothèque or Bookshelf ceiling lamp “Bookshelf” was designed in 1953 and is available in black or white finish. The interior of the reflector is polished with a shiny white finish and the rotation of the shade is possible to up to 270 ° and inclination up to 55 °.

Plafonnier Pivotants (ceiling lights) features Mouille’s signature use of refined lines, hardware and the brass swivel connector, joining the arm to the diffuser.
