Designed by Charlotte Perriand and shown for the first time in Tokyo at the Synthèse des arts exhibition in 1955, the 524 Tabouret Berger is a stylised version of milking stools used by Berger shepherds.

The Tabouret Berger stool provides the utmost comfort whilst being practical and compact, its small profile is easily portable and can be easily stored.
