High Dot Bar Stool by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen.
In 1954, Arne Jacobsen collaborated with the Danish furniture manufacturer Fritz Hansen to create the Dot stool – a contemporary, minimalist, and refined design suitable for essential or additional seating in office and home settings.
Jacobsen’s emphasis on minimising materials guided the design of Dot, resulting in a graceful and sophisticated expression. Equipped initially with three legs, a fourth leg was added in the 1970s, with the tall Stool, the High Dot, joining the range in the late 1960s.
