Armchair for West Street

West Street armchair by Robin Day for Case Furniture.

The West Street chair is a simple desk chair with a timeless design. Designed by the iconic British designer Robin Day, the chair is the result of the designer’s personal project to design a chair with the simplest form.

The chair is named after the home Robin and Lucienne Day moved to in 21 West Street from their Chelsea home at Cheyne Walk where they spent most of the Days’ married life.

The chair features a solid wooden frame with upholstered leather pads on the seat and back. The back pad is angled slightly for extra comfort.
