538 Petit Bureau En Forme Libre by Charlotte Perriand for Cassina.
The first free-form table in this series was designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1928 for her studio in Montparnasse. The 538 “free-form desk”, conveys its timeless elegance through soft shapes and the warmth of the wood. Its rounded asymmetric form makes it ideally suited to smaller spaces and its lack of corners allows its users to negotiate its shape.
Innovative for the year of its debut in 1952, the model was re-issued by Cassina. The design is complemented by three support legs, one larger and oval-shaped, the other two cylindrical. Available in multiple finishes. A larger, table alternative is also available, please see ‘Product Range’ below.
