Rooted in a painstaking analysis of the reflective qualities of light, Poul Henningsen’s lights are recognised as classics of Danish design which are notable for their innovative glare-free form and uniform illumination.
The 3/2 Academy pendant, designed in 1958, has a chrome-plated fixture with three lights, each of which features Henningsen’s unique three-shade system. This shading system is designed to permit 12% of the light generated to contribute to the overall lighting of a room, with the majority of illumination focused outwards and downwards to cast an atmospheric yet effective glow.
Supplied with ceiling cone and 4m black textile cable. Maximum weight: 6kg.
