430 Series Stool

One of Verner Panton’s less recognised designs, the Series 430, was designed in 1967 and only experienced a short life in production.

Verpan rediscovered the design in 2015 while looking through the Panton archives and utilised Panton’s original sketches and notes to revive the seat to meet current standards.

Panton envisioned the Series 430 as a fusion of simplicity and comfort akin to an armchair. To achieve this, he incorporated traditional webbing into the fully upholstered seat, allowing it to mould to the body’s contours.

With its slender frame and welcoming design, the Series 430 Stool is well-suited for both classic and contemporary interiors.

The Series 430 also includes a chair, barstool and table.
