Applique Araignée 5 Bras Fixes by Serge Mouille for Serge Mouille Editions.

Plafonnier Pivotants was developed by Serge Mouille after the success of his earlier floor light, Lampadaire 3 Bras Pivotants. Like many of Mouille’s lamps of this era, the rotating ceiling light has a kinetic quality, conjuring a sense of movement. Characterised by its sculptural aesthetic, the lamp features shell-like shades and delineated arms.

Featuring a spider-like design, the Araignee or the Spider ceiling/wall light, designed in 1953, features five arms that extend from a fixed-length down rod assembly and varies in length, allowing light to be distributed throughout the room. The tiltable heads can articulate up and down in a 270° rotation and 55° inclination.
