Designed in 1963, the Barboy design emerged from Verner Panton’s interest in designing furniture for free, mobile rooms where spontaneous conversations could flow without physical obstacles. 

The result is a versatile mobile storage unit which could serve as a drinks cabinet in the living room, a compact chest of drawers in a bedroom, or storage in an office. The Barboy consists of three round drawers that can be pulled out fully for easy access to your belongings and then closed to create a neat cylindrical side table. 

This mobile storage unit represents Verner Panton’s functional and timeless design, boasting a stylish and geometric aesthetic. The elegant chrome handle and wheels are now complemented by a limited edition high-gloss finish in cream, navy and orange.
