Alu Chair by Muller Van Severen for Valerie Objects.

The well-known design duo Muller Van Severen originally created the Alu Chair for Anne Holtrop’s Bahrain pavilion at the 2015 World Expo in Milan. The chairs were instantly embraced by architects and design enthusiasts thanks to their playful minimalism.

Although primarily intended for outdoor use, the chairs have become popular in indoor environments thanks to their lightweight and durable construction. The carefully chosen colour combinations are treated with a UV-protective lacquer to maintain their vibrancy, while the uncoated aluminium frame shines when exposed to sunlight.
